What is that face?

As you can see Sage loves taking pictures! I am certain this will not be the last time I see this face that say's, "Mom, what do you want?!!"
We went to the Tulip Festival today with some friends and had a really great time! It was so warm! As usual I didn't get Sage to stand still for a minute, but I did catch few! It was so beautiful and worth every penny of it! Everyone should try and go if you haven't been yet!

Here we are! Did you think you lost us?

I am so behind on blogging I thought I would post a lot of pictures for you! Here you go!

Sage and I have enlisted ourselves in a class called 'Music Together'. My friend Terra introduced us to it and even though she doesn't go any more (I still love you any way) we have a lot of fun! Sage learns about singing, dancing, instruments, and rhythm. She really loves it and I love watching her learn and have fun with music!

We had this fun day at the Zoo! We decided to brave the cool weather and have a day out of the house with Sage's friend Fischer and his mommy! We had so much fun, but as always Sage's highlight of the trip was the playground. She can't get enough of all of the fun things to climb on! Thanks for the invite Natalie!

We had such a fun Easter! We went over to Scott's parents house in the morning for our Easter egg hunt! Scott took her around and found so many! She had so much fun. (I am so ready for the candy to be gone!) We had a yummy lunch that Grammy made and then we dashed off to church. Then we went over to my sisters house for dinner! Sage played with her cousins and had another Easter egg hunt! Fortunately I didn't bring home any more candy! It was such a great day!

I'm almost online again!

I haven't had the Internet since we moved and I am dying! I didn't realize how much I am online until now! We should be getting the Internet on Friday!!! So in case any of you are wondering what happened to us that is it! We are doing great! We are loving our home and just being us again!
Sage loves her new bedroom and I love her having a toy room! Less mess for me! She is sleeping pretty good and we have started potty training. She thinks it's funny and giggles, which just cracks me up! I am learning to deal with having a crazy active almost 2 year old. I have days were I think one kid will do it for me. Sage has become a very independent and social girl. She doesn't think that she needs me and I am considering a kid leash! I know, I used to make fun of them too, but I get it. She can get away from me so fast, it is so scary. I give a special thanks to those people who watch a pathetic mom wrestling with her out of control kid and who also keep their eye on her. You know those people who are sitting there and point in her direction, or say she is over there (with this look of sympathy on their face). I have had a couple of those scary moments where your heart starts racing, your throat closes in, and you start to sweat. It is the worst! Or how about when you are shopping and your kid just collapses on the floor every time you go to pick them up or hold their hand! It's a good thing she is adorable, melts my heart, and lifts my spirits or I would go crazy. Because at the end of the day she snuggles on my lap, finds that perfect spot to rest her head, and says in her adorable little voice, " momma". You just can't deny how beautiful and wonderful they really are.

American Idol Judge Kara Dioguardi

I am a huge American Idol fan and I wasn't too sure why they added a new judge ,Kara, to the show. I have liked her and think that she brought some change and balance to the judge panel. My sister Julie posted this song of hers on her blog and I love it so much I thought I would post it too! I love it and it makes me like her so much more. She is an amazing singer and song writer. Check out this video and tell me what you think!

I am also a huge fan of Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat, they were on Ellen the other day and sang together. I loved it so much I think I watched it about 3 times! It is such a cute song, I love the words to it! Tell me what you think!

I know, I know...

Posting has not been at the top of my list of things to do lately. We really have gone through a lot recently and every time I sit down to post I am at a loss for words and when I do post I sound sad and pathetic. So here is what has been going on even if it is sad and pathetic.....
1. We were scheduled to close on a house in January. :)
2. It fell apart hours before closing. :(
3. Sage and I went home to visit my parents and to be with family. ;)
4. Scott was working at home double time trying to find us a house. :)
5. I had a miscarriage. I was 9 weeks 3 days. :(
6. Our car ran into a boulder, no more car. :(
7. We found a home that I absolutely in love with! :)
8. We are currently "under contract" and should close in a week! :)
9. I found an amazing deal on a purse at Dillard's! 70% off! :)
10. Sage is attached to her binky and has it in her mouth 24/7. How do I get rid of it?

So that is us in a nutshell! It has definitely been a roller coaster ride so far this year. I am waiting for it to get better. The good news is I have faith that it will and soon enough we will have a house and we will be expecting again. What would we do without our faith? I certainly would be a mess if I didn't know that there is a plan for me! Love to all! And a big thanks for all of the phone calls and support that have helped me survive!

A wonderful Christmas!

This is everybody!

I thought that Sage looked so adorable. This was her Christmas dress for this year.

Here are Trevor, Hannah, Gabrielle and the fleeing angel, Sage.
This is at the McGee Christmas Party where Sage was a little more attentive.

We had such a great Christmas this year! It was filled with fun family Christmas parties, lots of snow, and the pure joy of a little girls second Christmas. Unfortunately Sage was terrified of Santa this year. There was no way she was getting near him. The first time I tried to sit her on Santa's lap she screamed bloody murder and clung to me like a little monkey! It was so traumatic! Poor girl. I guess that Santa didn't hold it against her because she got lots of presents from him Christmas morning. Christmas Eve was so fun this year with the Simons family! Mostly because the clan is growing and the Christmas spirit that the kids bring is so much more fun! We did the Nativity which actually turned into a disaster! Sage was the fleeing Angel along with Trevor, Hannah, and Gabrielle. In the end Trevor was ripping his costume off and Hannah was upset because "Grandma ruined everything!" The adults weren't helping the situation at all with all of the talking and yelling to "turn that music off!" Which I guess Grandma thought would summons the angel to appear! We thought she had lost it! We felt like we were in the middle of the TV show "Brothers and Sisters". It was hilarious! We really had a fun and exciting night with family! Christmas morning Sage walked into the family room that had her new twin babies, double stroller, and double high chair. She ran over to it, gave it a good long look, then took off with the stroller. She stopped in the kitchen to peek over at her new doll and said with the cutest voice, "baby!". It was so fun. I love Christmas!

It's picture time!!

Thanks to an excellent camera and my wonderfully talented neice Megan we took family pictures yesterday! Megan knew of this fantastic place in Lindon to take picture's and I took full advantage. I thought that she did an incredible job and I was very happy with our pictures. Sage has hit that age were she was just not in the mood I guess. We were able to capture a few smiles but mostly serious ones! Thanks Meg's for putting up with us! You are great! Enjoy the picture's everyone!
