Fun at The Little Gym!

Sage and I were lucky enough to enjoy a semester at The Little Gym!!! Today was the last day and Sage received an award and a fun new bouncy ball! She loved going to class each week and became quiet a little gymnast. Her favorite time was exploration, that is where the kids have free time in the gym. This was her favorite time because that is pretty much all she ever did. It was a good day (for me) if she would sit on the mat during circle time! I learned a lot about her and about me during this class. I had to learn to sit back and let her learn her own way, in doing this I saw that she really was learning, even though I didn't like the way she was doing it! Sage is such an independent and free spirited child, I am learning how to teach her and how to enjoy it! Thankfully she is a sweet heart too! How could you ever get mad at this face?
We always have bubble time and the kids love to get bubbles blown on their tummies!

Here is Sage making a slam dunk during ball time!

Sage loves hanging from the rings!

And of course playing on the bar's!

This program really was a blast and I recommend it to all of you mommies out there! We loved it and I thought it was worth every dime!

Christmas Morning!

Sage asked for a blue bouncy ball for Christmas, and she must have been on the nice list this year because Santa delivered. It was her favorite present!

Thanks Grandma Jean and Pappa Voy for the fun Play dooh set!

Sage got a Doll house for Christmas too!!
Thanks to everyone for a wonderful Christmas! I hope you all had as much fun as we did!

Let's talk about Christmas!

Me and Scott on Christmas Eve!

The Grandkids (Trevor, Sage, Hannah, and Chloe) in their new PJ's! We missed you Lily and Gabrielle!

Making a candy cane reindeer with the kidd0's!

Cookie decorating!

Sage and Daddy working on the cookies!

Christmas was so much fun this year. I loved experiencing Christmas with Sage! Singing reindeer songs, talking about Santa, seeing Santa, calling Santa, Christmas decorating, writing to Santa, baking, playing with the nativity, talking about baby Jesus, and so much more. I love this time of year!

It's Christmas Time!

It's Christmas this week!! To kick the week off we made a GINGER BREAD HOUSE! It was NOT pretty but we sure had a lot of fun making it! Sage could hardly contain herself and actually did a great job helping me. She is still talking about it and can't stop looking at it! We finished out the day by drinking hot chocolate and watching The Polar Express. What a cute movie! Sage loved it and sat through the whole thing. She is getting so big! I asked her what SANTA is going to bring her for Christmas and she said a blue present?!! Either I am getting mixed up in translation or I better talk to SANTA about a "blue" present!

What Makes a Woman Beautiful...

Alma Holmes Irvin Walsh
May 4, 1918 - December 7, 2009 Words are hard to come by when describing the feelings of losing a loved one. My Grandma was the kind of lady that loved everyone. Always there to give you a hug and a kiss, lift your spirits, and brighten any sad day. I was lucky enough to spend a lot of time with my Grandma growing up. Stopping by after school, picking apricots from the tree, playing with marbles, or having a snack that usually consisted of chicken nuggets and orange pop. I knew that my Grandma loved me, I knew that she wanted me around, and I knew that she wanted me to be happy. That to me is what makes a woman beautiful. I miss my Grandma, and I will always remember what she taught me about love and family.
I love you Grandma.

The many questions of Sage

I took this picture after the first snow of the year. Sage could not wait to get out in it!

It seems as though Sage has reached the age of asking many questions.....

"Mommy what are you doing?"
" what is Daddy doing?"
" what is happening?"
" where did my friends go?"
"where did Daddy go?"
" what are you eating?"
" whats that?"
" where are you going?"
"What's that noise?"

You get the idea, at least she hasn't started asking "why?" yet!! She is so curious and so full of life. I can't help but just smile and answer her questions, sometimes over and over again.
