Some Catching Up!

My niece Tara stayed with us a while back and we made the hike up to the Timpanogos Caves! It was quiet the hike with two kids! Scott packed Sage the entire way and I packed Reagan! We were all tired and sore the next day! The cave's were amazing!! I can't believe how beautiful it was! I also can't believe that I have lived here for 10 years and this is the first time I have been there!

Here are some pic's from Sage's 3rd birthday party! We had a blast! She wanted a Dora the Explorer party this year. We made bracelets in the rain forest, climbed to the tallest mountain and made rock animals, and went to hula hoop hill and blew bubbles! Sage had a blast and I am so thankful to everyone that made it!

A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

Most days are good and easy. This week I had two hard ones. Little things remind me of what is to come. Like this sweet picture. I know I will always treasure it. I love these little feet.

Happy Birthday Sage!

Happy Birthday to my favorite 3 year old! I can not believe that my little girl is 3! She has grown and changed so much in the last year it is hard to believe. She basically skipped wearing size 3 clothes and went right into size 4 with a size 10 shoe! She is a head taller than all of her friends her age too! Sage is an absolute joy in our family. She makes me laugh through out the day and I am constantly asking myself where she got so funny! She has quiet the sense of humor! Sage also has a huge heart. She can't go to bed without a hug and a kiss and has a huge concern for those that are sad or hurt. Sage makes friends very quickly and isn't afraid to jump right in! She loves going to the park, chick fil a is her favorite place to eat, and she loves to play outside every chance she can. She loves being a big sister and prefers to be called big sister. Seriously, if you say hi princess she will say, "I'm not the princess, I'm the big sister!" Sage loves to play with her friends and cousins and always mentions them in her prayers. She can talk my ear off and if I don't respond she will say, "mom why aren't you talking to me?!" Sage loves going to preschool and looks forward to it everyday. Every morning she asks me, "where are we going today." Bedtime and bath time are her least favorite times of the day and always want Reagan to do it first. She always needs, "two minutes!" She has learned to fake cry, talk mean and naughty, cry till she gets what she wants, run away from camera's and has her daddy wrapped around her finger. Most of all we are blessed to have her in our family. I love being her mommy and I am so proud of the big sister she has become. Happy Birthday Sage. I love you so so much!

She's a Big Girl now!

Sage is officially a big girl! Today was the first day of summer camp at her pre-school. That's right I signed her up for pre-school this fall! I thought that summer camp would be the perfect way to get her used to going to school! Sage has been so excited about pre-school and talks about going all of the time. I have been preparing her for it the last couple of weeks by talking about it and how it will work when I drop her off. I was affraid that she would go kicking and screaming with out me! But yes, she is a big girl. She got out of the car, got her book bag and with her teacher in hand walked right into the school, not even looking back to wave good bye. I half wanted to smile and half wanted to cry. I did tear up I have to admit! I was more nervous and scared then she was! I picked her up and asked her about it. She didn't have a lot to tell me but did say that she wants to go back tomorrow! Oh sweet bliss! It was fun for her and nice for me to have a couple of hours! Here are some pictures of my big girl!

Reagan's Blessing Day

Sunday was a very special day. Reagan was blessed by her daddy at our church. He gave her the most beautiful blessing. I was such a proud mommy. Reagan wore the same blessing dress that Sage wore on her blessing day and Sage had a pretty new white dress to wear too. They looked so beautiful. After the blessing everyone gathered at our house for brunch. It was such a beautiful day and we had a lot of family and friends come to support us. Thanks to all of you that came!

Here is everyone that came, minus a few that had to leave right after the blessing. From left to right as best I can (by families): Jake Taylor, Mick, Natalie, Grant, and Fischer Hewitt, Grandpa Harold and Grandma Peggy, Matt and Amy Sterzer, Natalie, Trevor, and Hannah, Brooke and Rich Coles(taking the picture), Chuck and Jacob McGee, Griff and Mindy Christensen, Joe, Heather and Cloe Hansen, Polly, Roland, Abby, Spencer, Lizzy, and Mary Astorga, Sage, Me, Reagan, and Daddy.
