It's Christmas this week!! To kick the week off we made a GINGER BREAD HOUSE! It was NOT pretty but we sure had a lot of fun making it! Sage could hardly contain herself and actually did a great job helping me. She is still talking about it and can't stop looking at it! We finished out the day by drinking hot chocolate and watching The Polar Express. What a cute movie! Sage loved it and sat through the whole thing. She is getting so big! I asked her what SANTA is going to bring her for Christmas and she said a blue present?!! Either I am getting mixed up in translation or I better talk to SANTA about a "blue" present!

What Makes a Woman Beautiful...
Alma Holmes Irvin Walsh
May 4, 1918 - December 7, 2009
Words are hard to come by when describing the feelings of losing a loved one. My Grandma was the kind of lady that loved everyone. Always there to give you a hug and a kiss, lift your spirits, and brighten any sad day. I was lucky enough to spend a lot of time with my Grandma growing up. Stopping by after school, picking apricots from the tree, playing with marbles, or having a snack that usually consisted of chicken nuggets and orange pop. I knew that my Grandma loved me, I knew that she wanted me around, and I knew that she wanted me to be happy. That to me is what makes a woman beautiful. I miss my Grandma, and I will always remember what she taught me about love and family.
I love you Grandma.

The many questions of Sage
It seems as though Sage has reached the age of asking many questions.....
"Mommy what are you doing?"
" what is Daddy doing?"
" what is happening?"
" where did my friends go?"
"where did Daddy go?"
" what are you eating?"
" what are you eating?"
" whats that?"
" where are you going?"
"What's that noise?"
You get the idea, at least she hasn't started asking "why?" yet!! She is so curious and so full of life. I can't help but just smile and answer her questions, sometimes over and over again.

Happy Halloween!
We had the funnest Halloween yet this year! I love the older that Sage gets because holidays are so much more fun! I am reliving my childhood and I love it!!
We started off the weekend by going to the pumpkin patch! We met Scott for lunch and then headed for the patch! Sage had so much fun pulling around the wagon and picking out our pumpkins! Too bad it was so darn cold we were mostly trying to hurry and get warm! But it was a fun tradition for us start.
That night we invited our good friends, the Hewitt's, over for dinner, Carmel apples, cinnamon rolls, crafts, and pumpkin carving! We had a blast! Sage was a pro at helping me put the candy corn people together!
It's hard to believe that Sage is only 3 months older than Fischer! She is such tall girl!
And of course Saturday was Halloween! We went over to the Hewitt's neighborhood for some good old trick or treating! The kids had so much fun! Sage was Little Bo Peep and was just adorable! I loved her costume this year!
Here is Little Bo Peep!
