Don't you hate it when you want to take a picture and your camera is dead?! That has been the story of my life recently. So even though our life has taken some drastic changes I have no pictures to remember them. Sad hugh....but yes our life has drastically changed. The past two weeks have been crammed with packing boxes, cleaning, and repairing our old house. It took us two weeks to pack and 3 days to move from our the place that we called home. It all happened so quickly that none of it seemed to sink in. The realization hit me Saturday. I just left my friends, (my amazing friends), my home of 3 years, and my first baby, Sadie. It all seems so strange right now. I feel like I have a lump in my throat that hasn't quiet been released. And honestly and very surprisingly I miss my dog. We have talked about selling her for a while now. It just so happened that the people moving into our house are huge animal lovers and loved Sadie. So not only did I leave my empty house behind, I left my dog in it. I don't miss having to take care of her, I miss how sweet she was with Sage, how Sage would chase her around and giggle like crazy, and I miss how she honestly seemed to love being apart of our family. I just hope that her new family will take good care of her. I am trying to remember that dogs don't think like us. They don't have emotions like us. I am sure that she is fine...
As for the update on our new home, there isn't one. We are anxiously awaiting to hear back from our agents. Hopefully we will get into a house soon. In the mean time we are enjoying living with Scott's parents. They are so great. They love Sage to pieces and spoil her rotten! I am trying to help out as much as I can while I am living with them with cleaning and cooking. I am just trying not to be a burden at all. I will keep you updated on our housing situation. In the mean time we will be with the in laws!

Yay! You finally posted something! I sure hope things go smoothly with the whole house hunting ordeal. Just remember, you could always come visit me if you need a break from your in-laws. I miss you.

Wow! Things are really changing for you guys! That must be so hard to miss your dog, but, like you said, I'm sure she is really happy! I'm excited to hear about where you guys end up! I hope we get together soon...it's hunting season after all!
Yuck! I hate moving... especially when your husband is out of town for a good part of it. Fishy timing, Scott. :) J/K I would rather be out hunting, too. But next time you'll have to avoid the fall for moving time, right?! How sad that you had to leave your dog behind! It seems like almost everyone I know gets rid of their dog when they get kids. I LOVE dogs, but realistically I don't think we can handle taking care of one for several more years. We can barely take care of ourselves! At least you know she has a happy family and gets to stay in the surroundings she is used to. How funny that the new owners wanted the dog, too. :) Anyway, good luck with house hunting. It sounds like you guys have seen some great ones... now if you can just find the perfect one, right?
